How can I get rid of the info bubbles that pop up whenever I mover my mouse
over anything in Win XP. I can't read what I am trying to read because the
damn bubbles are in the way

If You're using XP (Pre-SP2):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Advanced
create a new DWORD value:
EnableBalloonTips.
hexadecimal value of 0.
REBOOT

If You use XP SP2, You'll need to do the same inBoth places)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Advanced
create a new DWORD value:
EnableBalloonTips.
hexadecimal value of 0.
REBOOT

Use caution! REGEDIT and Poisonous snakes can do a lot of damage if
they bite you!
