## I can't do what this is telling me (import messages) because I do not
have OUTLOOK or MS EXCHANGE on my PC, only OE. How is it done with OE6? I
still can't find the second identity in OE. When I try to change identity
nothing happens. I have WXP-Home/SP2 on my PC.

Go to File>Identities > Manage Identities Select the one you want to
use or add your new one. Once you're able to open the new Identity go
to File Import > messages. In the dialog box that pops select OE 6.
Then select the identity you want to import from. You'll need to do
the same with addresses and such.

You're right I was lazy and didn't snip, but I don't top post.

My comments were actually directed at freespirit! I do not suggest we
start a discussion on the merits of top and bottom posting as usually
neither party will ever agree with the other <g>.

Wasn't trying to start anything just stating the way I do things :-)
I've seen those long threads too and they're a waste of space.

==================
Thanks! I ended up deleting ALL MESSAGES and reselecting and downloading
headers all over again. That worked! I couldn't get anything to download
from any server that was recent. I'll keep this url for the next DISASTER!

================
The idea was to EXPORT all the messages from the INBOX to a folder somewhere
rather than save (drag & drop) them one at a time. I don't need 2
identities on my PC.
