- Photos Screensaver doesn't show all my photos

I use the screensaver that runs photos across my screen at random based on a
folder I've selected. I have it pointed to a folder on a network drive that
is packed full of every family photo in the last 4 years, hundreds and
possibly thousands on photos.
My wife and I have both noticed that it never seems to show photos from the
2006 subfolder (we had a new baby at the beginning of the year, and we never
see it shows photos of him). I've tested it out and pointed the screensaver
to ONLY the 2006 subfolder and it runs fine with lots of great 2006 photos,
but when I return the screensaver to pointing to the main folder that holds
all the yearly subfolders, it doesn't show them 2006 photos again.
Any ideas what's going wrong here?

move the pics from the subfolder to the main folder.

Try this
First Change your Screen Savor folder to some other folder.
Restart your Computer.
Again Select your Family Photo folder as screen savor folder.
Maybe you get it now.
Possibility is that your computer doesn't scans newly added folders, but
this way it'll have to rescan all subfolders I think.
