I have forgotten the password to my administrator user account for Windows XP
Home Edition version 2002 (and did not create a password hint), so I have
lost access to my main files. Is there a way to override this problem???
PLease, help!! Thanks so much!

Hi Cherie,
When you say administrator user account, are you referring to the hidden administrator
account accessible via Safe Mode?

Rather than doing a reinstall, or purchasing software, and if booting
into Safe Mode and logging in as Administrator with a blank password
doesn't work:
Google the term "john the ripper". Download and run it, being very
careful to follow instructions. You'll be able to change the
Administrator password with it.
