The Shift key on your keyboard seems to be broken, as do the period
and comma. :-) Seriously, in future please try to post in short,
clear sentences. You'll find that the more clear you make your
problem, the more likely you are to get help.
In this case, it sort of sounds like you don't want the mouse to wake
the computer from standby. Look in your BIOS settings next time you
boot -- you may be able to set it there. Otherwise you can always
unplug the mouse just before putting the computer in standby.
Apologies if I didn't answer your real problem, but I did the best I
could with what you wrote.

First check that you can use your keyboard to resume from standby without
any problems. Then use Device Manager. Go to the properties for the mouse.
On the Power Management page, uncheck the box next "allow this device to
bring the computer out of standby."

Hmmm. Have it in my mouse properties but not my keyboard. Well, if it's not
there, the suggestion won't help you. Let's try a different tack. Have read
in these newsgroups to turn the mouse upside down when you leave the desk.
Some folks with very sensitive mice that react to passing traffic or
walking on the nearby floor have made that suggestion.

Do you have any particular drivers for your mouse or you use the MS default
ones? Try some mouse drivers from HP or Logitech - mainly if it's a
USB/wireless mouse; or simply buy a mouse that allows Power options.
You can check the BIOS, as Stan says.
