- Search opens when selecting My Computer in Start Menu
- Posted by meduzuri on February 21st, 2008
Customized Preference in XP set to:
Start Menu -> My Computer -> Display as Menu
When I left click on the C: drive in the "My Computer" menu, a search window
opens instead of exploring the C: drive. This started happening after a
"windows update"
Right clicking on the C: drive lists (in this order)
Search . . .
Open
Explore, etc.
I want to left click the C: drive to open the drive without going through
the additional steps. How do I keep the search window from opening in the
Start Menu when I only want to explore the C: drive?
