- Show files in explorer left folder pane (tree view)
- Posted by loris.rinaldo@gmail.com on February 28th, 2006
I would like explorer's left pane tree view to be able to view files
like this:
collapsed
[+] - FOLDER1
[+] - FOLDER2
non-collapsed view
[-] FOLDER1
L.. FILE1
L.. FILE2
[-] FOLDER2
[+] SUBFOLDER1
L.. FILE1
L.. FILE2
L.. FILE3
Is there some explorer (or win register) setting that can do this?
Or is there some other application available that could do this?
thanks
loris

The only thing I noticed when disableing Simple view, are the dotted
lines that disappear.
In the folder pane there is no way to view files (unless these are zip
files) and at the same time there is no way to have a treeview layout
on explorer's right pane.
thanks anyway,
Loris
