- Using customized media settings i WinXpSP2 at limited accounts
- Posted by Tom Runesson on September 25th, 2005
Hello microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize,
I use BSPlayer Free for most media applications on my home computer. With SP2
on WinXP it is not that easy to use customized media settings with Media
Player 10 installed, under a limited account.
Changing settings under the admin account aswell elevating the limited
account to admin does work well aslong the account remain elevated. When
lowering the user account to limited the usual standard settings with Media
Player 10 as default for the pre-chosen media types returns...
Where does Media Player read those settings from in limited accounts?
