Hi. I recently had to reinstall arcsoft showbiz and am now getting
some unwanted effects when I produce a movie. When I play back the
movie I can hear a faint but noticeable and annoying high pitch whining
sound, and the picture is displayed in letterbox format with about a
one and a half inch black border along the bottom and top. My
previously recorded movies (before the renstall) don't appear to have
this problems. Anyone know what could be wrong. Maybe some sort of
codec conflict?

There doesn't appear to be any way to change the video format once you have
captured the video from source so I would start by looking at the capture
settings to see if you have inadvertently chosen something that you don't
want in the capture settings.
