Converting audio in Real Player downloaded .ivr video file format to .mp3, .wav, etc.

Lately, Real Player has enabled users to download streaming videos
onto one's hard disk. They have a filename extension of .ivr
[Internet Video Recording, and can be played using Real Player.

I would like to convert the audio on such files into a standard audio
file format such as .wav or .mp3. Does anybody know a direct way to
do this? Sound Forge does not recognize an .ivr file.

Burn ivr files to a CD. Then rip the files to wma using windows media
player.

Use free downloaded tools to convert wma to mp3.
