- Digital Rain
- Posted by Jim Malone on July 5th, 2003
I am looking to make rain digitally. I need to add it in post.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial, or program, video
application, etc. I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks
Jim

BorisFX has a sophisticated rain generator that allows control over numerous
parameters such as angle, speed, depth, opacity etc. and even allows for an
interaction (splashes) on a separate object layer. Check it out at

Few things to watch out for:

-if you can, make some of the elements a bit wet, like e.g. an
umbrella
