- DV interlaced previewing (monitoring) on PC
- Posted by Yaroslav on February 19th, 2005
Hi,
Is there any program that allows the user to preview the video coming
via fireware on the computer screen, in interlaced mode? (No
capturing, i.e. writing to disk, is required).
Here, interlaced mode means not deinterlacing, but sending odd and
then even fields to the screen 50 times per second, not the whole
frame 25 times per second.
There's the VideoThumb tool that does exactly that, except for it
doesn't take into consideration the interlaced nature of the video.
Thanks.
