hi,

i am thinking of getting a DVD recorder to transfer my Sony's
camcorder footage onto DVD Disc. My question is about the quality. I
want the exact same quality that is on my Hi8 tapes, but transferred
to DVD, will this be possible?

I have Premiere to capture the DV output, but am unsure what codec to
use and what settings would be correct.

Any info appreciated.
