I have an MPEG-2 720x480 file that I recorded off the TV with my All In
Wonder card using the "DVD quality" settings in ATI MMC 8.x. I edited it
(removed commercials) with VS7 and burned it to DVD using Roxio DVD Builder.
Playback of the MPEG file on my computer is just fine but when I play the
DVD it is blurry, washed out a little and larger in size (on the screen)
than the MPEG file. Also, I notice that if I playback the MPEG file using
PowerDVD it looks similar (if not exactly) like the DVD.
Can anyone explain what I did wrong? Why this is happening? How do I get
my DVDs to look as good as the original MPEG file?
Thanks,
Richard
