- extracting DVvideo sequence in batch ?
- Posted by Pierre_Cat on October 7th, 2004
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to extract from DV files each "time continuous"
sequence (I mean, each set of video frames that are continuous in
time) in a separate DV file.
This is because my video material (sport) is captured as lots of short
sequences (3s up to some dozen of seconds), that are either to be kept
or to be thrown away (no complex editing required, but lots of
sequences to sort from).
Is there a tool that would be optimized to handle this kind of video
material? Ideally, I would like something that get my source DV file
(the whole rush) as input and automatically generate (from the
timecode meta data) seq_0000.avi, seq_0001.avi, ..., seq_0047.avi or
something like that.
Thanks
P.
