- Feature Request: Movement Feature
- Posted by Psynex on August 15th, 2004
I really feel DX could benefit from some kind of movement animation
controls. I've used the .Move command to makes screen movement possible,
but at a huge cost to the CPU.
It would be nice to see a tab for movement under object states that you
could set an inital and final position for an object and a speed at which it
could travel at. Also, a loop and back-and-forth option would be awesome
too.
Take that a step further and allow for a user to draw a path right on the
desktop that they want a certain object to travel on. (that part came to me
in a dream)
I'm sure if this type of enhancement would be much better handled by the DX
graphics engine then any script or animated object any of us users could
create.
