- Final Cut Express/Quicktime format?
- Posted by Sean on November 16th, 2003
Hi,
I was just wondering if there is a difference in quality between exporting
my Final Cut Express project to FCE selfcontained format or in Quicktime
format when importing the movie in DVD Studio Pro/iDVD and viewing the final
product on my DVD player? What is the best choice?
The only difference i know is that the Quicktime format can be open in
Quicktime viewer and the FCE selfcontained format must be opened in FCE.

There shouldn't be any quality difference. However, the FCE format
includes the ability to set chapter markers, which can make a big
difference in how you view your DVD.
