Fixed Nikon Coolpix camera body engineering flaw with paperclip & epoxy
Posted by Jeanette Guire on October 15th, 2007

I post this fix so that others who have the infamous Nikon Coolpix series
of cameras can fix Nikon's engineering flaw in the camera body which Nikon
refuses to fix despite the tens of thousands of unhappy Nikon Coolpix
buyers.

All the reviews totally missed the mark on the Nikon Coolpix camera

For the record, before gluing the paperclip on the camera to fix Nikon's
engineering flaws, I had called Nikon Service Relations at 800-645-6678 and
they basically said that many people have the problem with the Nikon
Coolpix series battery latch door breaking and that it wasn't something
they cared about.
