'General' tab sometimes missing...
Posted by Fix on May 17th, 2004

Hello,
I haven't been able to reproduce it yet, but after a short amount of time
(let's say, one hour or so) the 'General' tab is missing in the Properties
dialog of *any* object. Plus, in the 'States' tab, it's then impossible to
configure the state of the object : the lower part of the tab is replaced by
a blue area...
Thanx for any info,
Best regards,
Fix

Same here. Uptime 7.5 hour, no general tab.
Also, in the states tab, all but the messages tab are empty. Changing
something in the relations sab caused the object to disapear: NO image.

It seems there is a leak or something. Could you try with this registry
value:

DWORD "DynBitmapCaching" = 0
in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\DesktopX

Restart DX.

Let me know if improves the situation.

I forgot to say : like Alain, I use Win XP Pro French version... Maybe it's
related to this french version ?
I'd be more than happy to test stg else, if possible
Best regards,
Fix
