Great new video and free hosting site
Posted by d01821@gmail.com on January 25th, 2006

Here's an example, so watch early, watch often:
http://www.kaneva.com/checkout/strea...Id=1568&free=0

(The link is family safe, if you're wondering.)

For vblogs and video hosting, please use the link to go to the home
page. You can store and distribute an unlimited number of videos (up to
5gb each) in most any format, and even make money on them. Enjoy!

Two questions...

1). You don't happen to work for or own this company, do you? (Not that
I expect a truthful answer anyway)

2). You can link to the ACTUAL video via RSS? In other words, you're
NOT taken to some dumb "page" where you are forced to jumped through
hoops just to get the video, only to find that you can't download it at
all (This is what I passionately *HATE* about YouTube and other websites
like it).

Pardon my cynicism, BUT....

I too have been looking for sites to host some edited travel movies.
I found 2 which I will try.

Youtube.com
video.google.com

Youtube has a free 1 gb Space.

PS no relation to any of the companies

I'd much prefer to encode and upload my videos in such a way where one
can download them to their PSP, Video iPod or other portable device.

All YouTube and Google seem to provide is storage space for videos so
they can be streamed, which makes no $en$e whatever of they're trying to
conserve bandwith and keep their co$t$ low.

Just my opinion
