Hard drive capacity for 100 hours
Posted by Alan B on January 21st, 2007

I would like to know the approximate hard drive capacity on my
DishNetwork DVR. It hold about 100 hours of regular, nonHD
broadcasting. I know this question doesn't exactly fit in with this
group, but you guys seem smart, and like you might be able to help.
Thanks.

It appears that the boxes with 120GB drives are the ones
claiming 100hrs SD recording time.

Luck;

You don't say which model you have, but here is a link with several Dish PVR
models describing their hard disk capacities.

A good guess for you is that your DVD is probably around 120 to 250 GB
capacity.

As Ken said probably 120gb, my old Replay TV DVR would get about an hour per
gigabyte on high resolution. Then figure the software and a little overhead.
