- Has anyone tried both input from video card analog and firewire passing thru a camera?

Has anyone tried both sending video from VHS tape into the video card
analog input and the second method of sending the video to the
firewire after passing through a video camera?
Is there a difference in video quality using these two methods of
capturing video to the hard drive?
Does the video and audio get out of sync when sending video from VHS
tape into the video card analog input?
I'm looking at buying a video card and are wondering if I should have
the analog input feature on the card I choose?

I've never experienced that.
I would suggest getting a capture board separate from the video card. Chance
are that you'll upgrade the graphic card a few time while keeping the same
capture card, integrated makes upgrade expensive. Also, if you have to RMA
the capture card and it's integrated, you'll also loose the graphic card
while it's in transit, rendering your computer useless.
