The upcoming Sony SR1 (HD) and UX1 (DVD) have mic in and also an
adjustment ring (like HC1). I think Sony should consider adding mic in &
headphone in to HC3 through the Active Interface Shoe. [The bluetooth
mic is interesting but I doubt the quality is very good; possibly only
good enough for voice.] It's odd that the more consumer oriented AVCHD
camcorders have mic in. Shame on you Sony! A AIS mic adapter will sell
like a hot cake.
