How to capture PAL S-Video with VirtualDub - Where to set PAL in VirtualDub
Posted by Stefan Mueller on July 18th, 2003

I'm using VirtualDub 1.5.4 and I'm not able to capture the whole picture of
the PAL S-Video signal.
I've set the video format to 352*288 (Pixel Depth and Compression: UYVY).
But I can't see and capture the whole picture. The bottom part is always
missing. I guess I just capture 352x240 which is NTSC.
Where in VirtualDub can I set that my video signal is PAL and not NTSC?

My Laptop: IBM ThinkPad A31p
Video Device: Philips PhilDec Capture
Video Source: S-Video

Any help is very appreciated
Stefan
