Dunno. But I thought they were talking about someone
like that when I accidentally turned on the boob-tube
yesterday. Yawn. Guess we should be thankful that
such drivel leads the news. It means nothing important
is happening in the world.

Nappy is the father of Anna Nicole's baby! Where do you think I've been?

Those who live under a rock may not be aware of it, but from what I've
seen on CNN the past few days, it's apparently the most important news
story of the century. So far, at least.

Well, that's CNN for you. Do they really believe they have

Darned. Y'all haven't had your coffee yet huh? Missing out my wink :-P

I think the news was on tv here as well, but I hardly watch tv because it's
so boring, so I don't know how much it is covered. I guess they didn't know
what to say about Iraq anymore, so found a new topic toquench the thirst of
the every hungry journo's?

No, I saw your wink, Martin, but for some reason I just wanted to

To address Richard's comment, I really don't know what CNN thinks of
themselves these days. Certainly they do seem to think that they are
the leader in "news", superior to the folks at Fox, and probably do
rank higher in the ratings, though. They are profitable, in a business
sense.

What bothers me somewhat is that large numbers of unsophisticated,
under-educated people watch this stuff and really do believe that it's
an important news story, one worthy of vast amounts of coverage and
attention.

One of the "almost 500 channels of news and entertainment" that my
local cable company (Time Warner Cable of New York City) supplies to
me is the CNN International feed, which doesn't cover stories such as
this, I'm pleased to say.

OTOH, sex sells. Even I can't argue with that.

Regarding CNN I always refer to Jay Leno's man on the street interviews
with people who barely know what state they're in. Those are the people who
answer the polls that CNN feeds off of.

CNN is tragic. They're trying desperately to copy FOX .. That "Situation
Room" Man.. what a joke. SPlit screen videos and a handheld camera. With
tiny little Wolf Blitzer trying to keep up with the propaganda on the
teleprompters. Taking breaths between every 6 syllables..

MSNBC is probably the saddest though. They spend all their time trying to
attack OReilly and Fox.. Kinda sad actually.

And FOX.. well.. I really am sick of all of the women in news now. No wonder
there is SO MUCH GOSSIP and hypotheticals and guessing and twitching and ..
well.

I had a nightmare the other night and Nancy Grace was grilling me about
where I hid the kid.. I wanted to wake up and kill myself.

But then.. I remembered.. Hey.. I got nothing to worry about! I am the
father of Anna Nicole's baby!
