I just got a digital camcorder yesterday and spent all of last night
playing with iMovie. So far, I love it. Like all of Apple's other
apps, it's a bit slow, but other than that, it's great.
I did find one small problem though. I sped up a clip to as fast as
it could go and when I try to export to my camera, it just can't keep
up with the frames, and what I get is about 2 seconds of fast motion
followed by a still frame until the next clip begins. Is there a way
to make it sort of pre-render it or maybe have a larger buffer so the
hard drive can keep up with the video stream going to the camera? I
suppose I could export to DV on the hard drive and then later send
that out to the camera, but that requires extra time and lots of drive
space.
Thanks,
Ryan
