LCD view is upside down on Panasonic PV-GS120
Posted by js92 on April 12th, 2007

I have a Panasonic PV-GS120 camcorder, and the view in the LCD is
upside down. I don't remember doing anything to cause this. I looked
in the manual for a setting that could fix this problem, however I
was not successful. What can I do to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Some cameras have a feature where you can flip the LCD around and
watch yourself on camera. There is a little switch that senses when
the LCD is flipped around and it inverts the picture. Perhaps your
camcorder has such an arrangement? The switch might be stuck?

Thanks for the reply. I could not find any switch. I looked through
the manual thoroughly, and it does not mention any such switch.

Thanks.

The switch is inside and automatically senses which direction
the LCD is facing. It is not a user control. Recommend having
it looked at by a professional.

Try twisting the LCD backwards. Some LCDs allow you to flip them so you can
record yourself and will flip the LCD image to accommodate.

Thanks. I tried twisting the LCD backwards, but that did not work.
Still, the LCD view is inverted when the camera is right up.
