With the latest download of DeskTopX, my media player no longer works... I'm
using Object Media and have the latest download of it also...

If you have a problem with it, try one of these:
Get this one if you want ObjectMedia to be the default if it is active:
http://www.zen9361.zen.co.uk/tmp/DXPlayerSPPriority.zip
Get this one if you want ObjectMedia to be the default *and* run when
you press a button if it's not running:
http://www.zen9361.zen.co.uk/tmp/DXPlayerSPExecute.zip
Either way, extract into C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object
Desktop\DesktopX\SDPlugins and maybe the ObjectMedia directory as well.
