I am so frustrated! I captured analog video in Click2Dvd. I needed to
convert it to DV-AVI using DVGate so that MovieMaker could recognize it. I
edit the movie in MM2 and then save it as an AVI file.
In Click to DVD, there is no audio. From my reading, I have discovered that
it is AVI type1 when it needs to be type-2. So I tried Premiere 6 LE, but
couldn't get it to recognize the audio from the MM2 AVI. I tried the ulead
avi converter. It seemed to work, but partway through the new AVI, the
sound turns to loud white noise. I tried TMPGEnc. It started saving the 1
hr AVI, but dies when the file hit 80 GB partway through the encoding (I
don't have unlimited space - how can it be that large??). If I tell it to
save to MPEG, it saves 2 files, one video and one audio (neither .mpg). I
can't figure out how to just have it output one MPEG file.
Has anyone figured this out before destroying their Vaio?
Thanks!
