MPEG Video File Plays as Song

I have a video file that plays back as a song. Is there any way to solve
the problem?

Thanks,
SW

Probably not unless you tell us...
What computer/operating system?
What application is playing your file?
What kind of file? (What is the file exention? ".mpg"?)
Do all your video files play this way?
Do you have any other application that plays this kind of file?
How are you playing the file?
Are you (double-)clicking on the file name (or link)?
Are you launching the application and then opening the file?
Where did the file come from?
How do you even know it is a video file at all?
How long is it? How big is it?

If I had to guess, it is a problem with how that particular
file type is "associated" with an application that is supposed
to play it. But we can't really go anywhere with zero details.

Note that this is far more likely to be a computer (Windows,
Mac, Linux, etc.) question than a "video question".
