Hi Folks,

downloaded Avid's little free gem a few years back. never tried it, but
thought i'd fire it up before nuking it.
it's kind of a cool appliance, but very user-unfriendly.

i'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with it (or still uses it?)

f'r instance, when I drag a clip, graphic or title onto the timeline, it
freezes. can't reposition it. can't lengthen or shorten it. the video
capture utility works ok and video does preview fine, but no audio coming
thru at all. the VU meters fire ok, indicating the audio sounds "inside"
AFDV, but absolutely no sound coming thru.

if anyone knows of any web support for this app, please refer me. Avid has
stopped supporting it.
