Problems recording HDV transport stream.
Posted by hackinsat on January 30th, 2006

I am trying to record the rendered HDV transport stream file back onto
my camera.
I am suing an HDRFX1 with premiere pro. I rendered out my video which
took hours and created a file about 12 gigs in size with the extension
..m2t. The first time I rendered, premiere started my camera up and
recorded it back to tape. No problem there. I need to make a second
copy, and don't feel like re-rendering it again. How do I download the
existing completely rendered file back to the camera? That's the
question.

If the transport stream for output has been created the program should reuse
it for secondary output. Go back to the timeline and choose to Export to
Tape again. The video should output almost immediately.

Just like with Encore and making subsequent DVD's from an already built
disc, even if it has not been written to a disc image, the process has
already been performed once and the program simply resuses the original
settings, etc. for subsequent DVD writing.
