Right click on DesktopX 3.0 and select 'Properties' and then select the
'General Settings' tab. You can set the F9 and F10 to something else. I
chose Shift+F9, Shift+F10

Hi, Ron.

Sorry, but I think that's how I used to be able to do it. Now, when I
right-click on the DesktopX icon in the system tray, I have five options:

Configure DesktopX...
DesktopX Welcome
---------------------
Import
Load Desktop
---------------------
Unload DesktopX

I pick Configure DesktopX and get a dialog box with three tabs -
Welcome, IconX and Preferences. Pick the Preferences tab, and I have
six items that I can configure... Run automatically, don't ask for
saving desktop, disable tooltip, disable sound effects, language, and
automatically copy new loaded objects...

I do not have DX set up to run automatically, and start it by the
shortcut that was created when I installed it. Is there a command line
argument that I should be using to start it in a different mode or
something? I should also mention that the version I'm using is 3.00.041
(the latest available via SDC).

Any further help is appreciated. Thanks.

After much searching, and not finding anyone else who found it....

Right click on DX icon in system tray
Select 'DesktopX Welcome'
On the welcome window/Widget right click again
Select properties from there
Select the 'General Settings' tab
There it is

This is for version 3.09b[b].002, the latest version I could get from
Stardock Central
