DV takes about 3.5MB/sec or 13GB/hour. You should be fine with the
space you have left on your hard drive. You must be calculating
something wrong, since your suggested transfer rate is over 20MB/sec,
which I doubt your computer can handle (My PIII 2GHz UDMA100 HD system
wouldn't).
Check again and see, and yes, DV quality is great...
