Are you capturing DV or Analog? The frames are dropped when the system
cannot keep up with the capture. There are things you can do to help this,
such as use a video drive that is separate from your system drive, etc.
Personally, if I drop a frame, I start the capture over. It doesn't happen
very much with a well configured system.
