Wait until you use this convoluted mess. A well designed piece of software
shouldn't require a book to learn how to use it. I'll stick with Vegas 4.

What the hell are you talking about.. The Vegas manual is over 2 inches
thick!!! Are you one of those people who think they don't need a manual
for anything?

The Vegas 4 manual may be thick but you don't need it 95% of the time to
get the job done. Unlike the user unfriendly FCP 4.

What are you talking about, Lots of very good programs need a book or
training. The fact that a program is deep like say photoshop, or After
Effects and can not be instantly learned and requires some study does
not mean they are bad programs. FCP has a lot to offer especially
under the surface--this is part of its strength.
Anyway I like Lisa Brenneis's book on FCP. I don't know what the
tittle is for FCP 4. You might check out the www.lafcug.org for more
information.

Absolutely. Take Flash for example. I think it's designed very logical
and straight forward. But, I have several books, in fact, I have 8 Flash
MX books. Read them all, and got something from each one. Does that make
it a bad program?
... but I love these people who think that don't need books for
anything.. They remain stupid and don't even know it..

ahhhhh.. Now I'm starting to understand.. I know this is hard to believe

This is probably why you don't read books. Because you can't remember
what you read. So you probably assume everyone else is just like you.
