Before one gets to that point one has to wade through a lot of way over the
top FCP advocacy from someone who admits they've pretty much only just
opened the box. Given that you continue that advocacy in some of your later
posts and do pretty quickly get into PC-user bashing, and the superiority of
YOUR program I think you are being a little disingenuous about what you
actually did. And that's why you got the responses you got.

If you really want a book recommendation, a post that says: "Does anyone
have a recommendation for a good manual on FCP 4?" would have made the point
extremely concisely and avoided the flame wars you say you would like not to
start.

No, you simply want someone to say "I have this program that is so
counter-intuitive I need a book to teach me how to use it". Since that
is not the case, that's not what the OP posted. Sorry to disappoint
you, but not every request regarding new software is automatically a
"HELP!" post.

Point taken Gary, But.. at no point did I ever PC bash anything. I have
a PC, a mac and a linux box, and anyone who thinks one is 'just' better
than anything else, is simply just ignorant. They each have there
strong points, and there weaknesses.
