Well, I re-rendered with bypassing the wizard and still, no matter
what I try, the video comes out bigger than 50 megs. It was 51.7
megs this time, and that was with a CBR of 800. Yes, Ive tried lower
than that even but still the file comes out too big. There seems to
be little relation between CBR setting and file sizes once you
cross some minimum value.
It doesn't matter if it is VCD compliant or not(this time), but
unless I find out what the trick is I am going back to my opinion
that TMPGENC is good for image processing but does not work well
to compress files. For that, avi2mpeg seems to be the best game
in town.
My video requirements are simple: It must play on most any computer
(standard MPEG), most of the time I want files 50 Megs or less, and
of course I want awesome video quality and sound.
Any ideas or suggestions?????
