I'm helping a friend who has Roxio's VideoWave Movie Creatoron on her Dell
laptop, with a CD/RW burner. So far, she's burning VCDs but she wants to
burn a DVD.

Since a DVD burner exists on her husband's "networked desktop", is there a
way to create DVD files on the laptop, which she can transfer to the desktop
and burn it there.

When I asked her, she seemed to indicate that Roxio VideoWave software needs
to see the DVD burner on the laptop or else it will not create a DVD. I
thought this couldn't be.

I wasn't able to find a manual on Roxio's web site so I need to find out
here.

Rgeards offline DVD creation, can VWMC do it. What's the verdict?
