- Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO for HDV editing? URGENT.
- Posted by ijones@TOGLIinterfree.it on April 13th, 2007
Hi, I'm sorry if I have just posted an urgent question, but I have so
little time to decide.
I am assembling a new PC with Canopus NX card for HVV editing and I'd
like to know if Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO is a good graphic card for
HDV editing: I am afraid it is too much cheap.
Can you tell me if it is ok?
I don't like to spend much money.
Will it be sufficient to work fine with HDV?
Thanks

The Vid cards listed for it on the Canopus site have
ATI R9700Pro and X600 as compatible, so your
X1650Pro with it's 256mb of DDR-3, should work
just fine. In fact some of its features may go unused
with the NX and expansion cards in play.
Luck;
Ken

Be Careful - - Canopus 4.0 is VERY particular about the video card.
You must have LOTS of Vid Card memory 256 MIN 512 is better.
Go ask in the canopus forums.
