Slide Show using a Sony 803E video camera
Posted by Brian on August 25th, 2005

This is an correction to my last post as I found that my friend had a
DVD 803E video camera.

A friend is having trouble trying to find out how to show a slide show
of his still photos on the TV using the Sony DVD 803E video camera.
He can't find anywhere in the manual for producing a slide show.

Can someone help please.

Regards Brian

Perhaps it simply dosen't? A DV Cam is usually not intended to be a
slide show projector.

Things to try.
1. Simply hook the camera up to a TV using one of the avail video out's.
Assuming you can display the stills from the camera on the camera lcd
screen, perhaps they will appear on the TV this way.
2. D/L the stills to a computer. Google for software that will create
VCD or DVD slideshows. Use it to put a slideshow on a disk and play it
on the dvd player.

Thanks for your reply RS.
According to the specs for this camera on the Sony site this camera
can show a slide show. Many be the manual has been badly written.

Thanks Susan, but my friend needed a few instructions on how to get
his camera to display a slide show.
I was hoping that someone else on the newsgroups owned this model of
Sony camera.
Maybe as this camera is new on the market I'm not getting many
responses to my e-mail.
