- Sony Vegas: mark all clips on all tracks from the current timeline position to end of the timeline
- Posted by Tobi on February 6th, 2006
As you can read in the subject, my question is if there is a simple
method to
mark all clips on all tracks from the current timeline position to end
of the timeline. this I have to do quite often, and I guess I am not
the only one.
My current method is to zoom out to see the whole project timeline,
change to "Selection Edit Tool" and mark with the 'rectangle marking
method' all of the clips. Then i zoom in again and change to "normal
edit tool"
Since I would like not to do this zooming, is there a more simple/fast
method?
thanks,
paralion

I believe Select All or Ctl+A will do that.
I would also suggest you take a look at a very very hand toolset for
Vegas called Excalibur, which, amoung the many tools has a flexible set
of clip slection tools.

Won't that select ALL the clips?
The OP is looking for "cursor to end" functionality.
In a text editor, you could do it with <Shift><End>
It might be worth a shot just to try it?

There's a script called "Select Events From Cursor" that will do exactly
what you're looking for. This script (and a whole lot more) are available
free at http://s92274348.onlinehome.us/vegas.html
BTW, if you've never used scripts, you're missing a lot of the power of
Vegas.
