- Is there a Solid State/Flash Memory Storage Camcorder with a Mic Input?
- Posted by durutti on April 6th, 2006
Hi,
I would like to know if there is a Video Camera that uses Solid
State/SD/MMC/CF etc rather than tape, DVD or Hard Disk that has a
Microphone Input.
Thanks
John

Thanks,
Is there anything more in the Home market hobbyist end of things?
Rather than Broadcast, also using not proprietary flash media

There are three models from Samsung that have "A/V in/out" connectors, but I
have no idea what their capabilities are.

It would not be a "Video Camera" if it did .. it would be a "Camcorder" (he
said, picking nits)
There are a few recorder on the market that will do that. But you need to
feed an external video and audio into them. Do you want / need mini-DV
quality? Some of these are (maybe all) and somewhat less .. but may be
perfectly acceptable for some projects.
