I just purchased a Mystique (love it, actually has a substantially
better
picture than my old diamond stealth 32 (et4000w32) at the same
rez/refresh/bpp! wasn't expecting that!)


Anyway, I also got the STB TV / intercast with it, which really
disappointed me. The Visual Basic software was plain horrible, the
audio
is overdriven (distorted), and the video cannot scale past 640x480.
Downloading their 2.0 software, the interface is a tad better (no more
VB!)
but still has the other problems. Also the scaling between ~320x200
and
~640x480 seems off, as if scan lines have been swapped (edges get
real
blocky, bad w/ black and white movies) <320 scales beautifully....


So, can anyone recommend a good TV card? I've heard that the
Hauppauge
Win/TV works well with the Mystique, can it scale to at least
1024x768?
Does it look good? Has anyone had experience with the Avermedia TV/
Radio?
Any others?


A big concern to me is the software; looking for something stable ,
fast,
responsive, and nice features.
