I have a desktop PC with AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core 3800+ processor,
1GB DDR-RAM and nVidia GeForce 6100 onboard video.

I want to be able to use the PC to record TV and burn the recordings
to a disc for viewing on a DVD player. Sounds simple.

I tried using a Gamebridge adaptor, but the quality of the video into
the PC was garbage.

With the above configuration, can I do it? If so what hardware &/or
software do I need?
