How do I convert a vob file (my own) to meg2 for simple editing in
tmpgenc? Thanks.

A .VOB file *is* an MPEG-2 program stream. Rename it .MPG and go

(.VOB is the MPEG-2 files on a video DVD)

(If your video is so long it split into multiple .VOB files, I think
you can handle this by concatenating the files byte-wise)
