*** Winproducer help-need to burn multiple DVDs ****
Posted by Jack Bader on July 2nd, 2003

Hi all,
I am a newbie to DVD creation. I have gotten WinProducer to capture
from my digital movie camera...creating either a mpeg or avi.

When I go to burn the DVD, Winproducer goes thru this long
"conversion" process before it burns the DVD...and it won't allow me
to burn multiple copies at one time....or I can't figure it out.

1) What type of file is created by this "conversion" process?

2) Is there an option in Winproducer that I haven't found to burn
multiple copies in one sitting without multiple conversions?

3) Is there some other freeware product that would do the burning?

Thanks,
Jack

1) DVD-compliant MPEG2.
2+3) I don't know that package, but look for an option to make
a disc image (.ISO), which will be written to hard disk. You can
then use any software that supports disc images and DVD burning
such as Nero (you do need to make sure you have a recent version).
To make multiple copies, you just keep using Nero with that .ISO
file.
In case you don't realise, Nero can simply copy a (home made only)
DVD, so you could just burn one and copy it x times..
