- advice on book GUI programming

Hi
Can someone give me an advice about a good and
compact book on Windows GUI programming.
I dont plan to do very advanced things,
mostly config dialogs, tabs, checkboxes ....
I am an expierenced programmer in c++ on unix and a bit
on windows (but only networking non-gui)

This is generally recognised as the best Windows book, it isn't compact
