- file list control
- Posted by Martijn on July 17th, 2003
Hi,
I am trying to make a filelist similar to that of windows explorer's right
pane. I've checked the example shown by EnumDesk (in the Platform SDK
samples), but I cannot figure out how to do the report list.
Ideally, I would like to have the same columns as in Explorer (which in some
cases even has an extra Attributes column), but I realize that it may not be
possible to get headers of those columns. Also, they may be in another
language, while the rest of my application is in English.
Does anybody have any good pointers on getting this solved? I've browsed
the google groups archive, but other than several reference to EnumDesk I
can't find anything.
Thanks for the help!

Hi,
Thanks for the help. I use the IShellFolder interface to enumerate all the
objects. The problem I'm having is figuring out the columns Explorer use.
But due to the language issue, I have departed the idea of retrieving them
from the system and simply supplying my own set of columns (but tips are
still very much appreciated!)
