Forgive me if I have misunderstood something, I'm fairly new at this and I
am trying to wrap my head around the stuff I need to understand

Is it possible to get a list of the groups that have explicit permissions
set on an ACL, I am able to tell if a certain trustee has permission on an
ACL. But if that trustee is in a group which has permissions I can't see a
way to find out what groups have permissions so I can see if the trustee
belongs to one of those groups.

Any help you can give will be gratefully appreciated
